| Description | The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) invite you to attend "Protect Yourself, Protect Your Baby: A Bloginar about Pregnancy and Flu." The webinar for bloggers will be held January 13, 2010, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm EST, and is intended for bloggers interested in knowing more about topics related to pregnancy and flu. Featured speakers include Dr. Sonja Rasmussen, a board-certified pediatrician and senior scientist in the CDC Division of Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (DBDDD) and Dr. Betsy Mitchell, a health communication specialist in DBDDD. A social media specialist will also be on-hand to talk about new flu-related social media tools from CDC that bloggers may want to use. The presentations will be followed by a question–and–answer period. We encourage live–tweeting of the event and ask Twitter users to use the hashtag #Preg&Flu. The two special H1N1 clinics planned for NIVW are on Tues. Jan. 12 & Thursday Jan. 14 and will be held at the HCHD 120 E. Mulberry Street from 8:30 – 4:00. Please call the Howard County Health Department for an appointment. Also, on Sunday Jan. 24 a "walk–in" Mass Immunization Clinic at Indiana University Kokomo campus will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
