A novel reassortant avian influenza A(H3N8) virus was isolated from wild birds
Several putative mammalian adaptive mutation was occurred in this H3N8 virus
This H3N8 virus can bind to both avian-type and human-type receptor
This H3N8 virus obtain the replication ability and exhibit pathogenicity to mammals
