New outbreaks:

Description of affected population in the new outbreaks: native chickens, meat ducks, layer ducks, broilers, layer hens, fighting cocks, turkeys and quails.

Total number of animals in the new outbreaks:

Control measures during reporting period: since 1 October 2004 the DLD has been conducting active surveillance nationwide so that all suspect flocks can be immediately destroyed regardless laboratory confirmation. Vaccination remains prohibited.
