USDA: HPAI detection in Pennsylvania

On 7 October 2026, APHIS reported 17 live wild birds collected on 22 September 2026 (Mallard(12), Green-winged teal(4), Northern pintail(1)) tested positive for EA H5 HPAI strain in Crawford county, Pennsylvania.
