Source of event or origin of infection: Unknown or inconclusive
Epidemiological comments: Vaccination data: In Long An province: The
2nd round of avian influenza virus (AIV) vaccination started from 4
Sep 2024 to 20 Sep 2024. In Duc Hoa district, 54 500 doses were
administered to 38 premises, accumulating to 468 000 total doses this
year [2024] (Tan My commune received 24 370 AIV vaccine doses, which
is equal to 92% of poultry in the commune). There is no manufacturer
instruction to vaccinate wildlife in captivity. In Dong Nai province:
On 5 Oct 2024, Dong Nai SDAH had vaccinated 304 chickens and 82 doses
with H5N1 vaccine Navet-Fluvac 2 (the local vaccine).
