House crow (_Corvus splendens_): Corvidae-Passeriformes / 120 / 15 /
15 / 0 / 0 / 0
Affected population: there was a sudden death of 15 crows in a bamboo
tree area of the affected location. Proper cleaning and disinfection
of the premises were done with the burial of dead crows.
Post-operative surveillance is ongoing.
Epidemiology
Source of the outbreak(s) or origin of infection: unknown or
inconclusive
Epidemiological comments: there was a sudden death of 15 crows in a
bamboo tree area of the affected location.
Control measures applied in domestic: movement control inside the
country; quarantine; surveillance outside containment and or the
protection zone; surveillance within containment and or the protection
zone; official disposal of carcasses, by-products, and waste; official
destruction of animal products; disinfection
Control measures applied in wild: disinfection; official disposal of
carcasses, by-products, and waste; movement control inside the
country
