Affected population: On 15 Feb, one Eurasian curlew (_Numenius
arquata_) was found dead in a wetland area. On 4 Mar, the
national reference laboratory confirmed highly pathogenic avian
influenza H5N4 in the sample from the Eurasian curlew (_Numenius
arquata_).
