Affected population: This is a farm with organic laying hens, housing
around 18 000 animals. Clinical signs of increased mortality were seen
2 Mar 2021.

Source of the outbreak(s) or origin of infection: Unknown or
Epidemiological comments: All animals were euthanized on 3 Mar 2021.
Disinfection of the holding was completed on 4 Mar 2021. A protection
zone (3 km [1.9 mi]) and a surveillance zone (10 km [6.2 mi]) have
been put in place around the infected farm, and all other restrictions
and necessary measures according to Directive 2005/94/EC are applied.
