On 13 November 2020, a 3 km protection zone and a 10 km surveillance zone have been established around the outbreak in Terwolde. In the 3 km zone there are four other premises with poultry. All the premises in the 3 km zone have been screened. There were no signs of possible infection. All screening test results were negative. The subtype is H5N8 and is confirmed by the national reference laboratory. All susceptible animals on the infected premises have been killed. | |
