Epidemiological comments On 17th of July, active surveillance was conducted in the Alazizia bird market. Tracheal and cloacal samples were randomly collected. Out of 20 ducks tested only one bird was positive to real-time PCR test. All the susceptible and diseased birds were killed, the market was closed and all control measures were applied.
