The Xiangxi Tujia & Miao Autonomous Prefecture reported one human H7N9 AIV confirmed case on 14th Auguest,2017. The 48-year-old patient, surname Mo, lived in Jishou city, had history of hypertension. The patient had onset of symptoms on 9th August, died on 13th August in hospital. The patient´s samples tested positive for H7N9 by Xiangxi autonomous prefecture CDC and confirmed by Hunan provincial CDC.
