Affected population Samples taken within the framework of a clinical suspicion in a backyard. The outbreak is located 15 kilometers away from an outbreak identified on June 23rd in Tournai, Belgium, in a non-commercial poultry holding. This outbreak is likely to be linked to the purchase of chicks and pigeons at a market in Tournai. H5N8 virus was identified by the National reference laboratory.
