China: Sichuan reported one human H7N9 AIV case in Panzhihua city

According to the CDC of Panzhihua city, Panzhihua central hospital reported one suspected human H7N9 AIV case on 16th June, after reconfirmation of provincial CDC lab on 18th June, the patient was confirmed to be the first human H7N9 case in Panzhihua city.The 48-year-old male, surname Yang, resident of Tianba village of Renhe town of Renhe district of Panzhihua city in Sichuan province, worked in the 1st agriculture market in Renhe district for live poultry trading and slaughtering business. He remained in Panzhihua central hospital for treatment and qurantine, seven close contacts were under medical monitoring and had showed no ILI symptoms so far.
