China: Hebei reported one human H7N9 AIV case in Shijiazhuang

One human H7N9 AIV case reported in Dongjiazhuang village of Qianxiguan town of Gaocheng district of Shijiazhuang city on the morning of 14th May. The 62-year-old female patient, surname Lu, resident in Dongjiazhuang village of Qianxiguan town of Gaocheng district of Shijiazhuang city. She had onset of symptoms(fever and cough) on 13th May,she went to a hospital in Gaocheng district on 13th May and was diagnosed as pneumonia case. Her condition was worsen and she went to the ER at second hospital of Hebei medical university for consultation. The samples of the patient tested positive for H7N9 by Shijiazhuang city CDC and Hebei provincial CDC.
Epidemiological investigation revealed that the patient had paid repeatedly visit to a chicken farm in the last 10 days with live poultry(chicken) contact history. All close family contacts(three) were under medical monitoring and showed no ILI symptoms so far.
