China: Beijing reported an imported human H7N9 case from Hebei

Beijing reported an imported human H7N9 AIV case on 11th,Feb 2017. The 68-year-old male patient, surname Zhang, resident of Langfang city of Hubei province(Yanjiao town of Sanhe city, border on Beijing). He had symptoms on 29th,Jan and treated in local medical institution on 6th,Feb, where he was diagnosed as serious pneumonia. Because the worsen of his condition, he was transferred to Beijing Ditan Hospital for treatment via an ambulance. He was diagnosed as human H7N9 AIV case on 11th,Feb, current in critical condition. The epidemiological investigation revealed the patient had suspect poultry contact history, all close contacts showed no ILI symptoms. This patient was the first human H7N9 AIV case in Beijing since 2017.
