Epidemiological comments

On 15th November 2016, one death case of Cygnus atratus (black swan) was found in the zoo and its sample was tested by antigen-capture kit with positive result for influenza A virus. On 17th November 2016, another death case of Cygnus atratus was found in the same facility and positive result was gained by antigen-capture kit.
On 21st November 2016, the two dead cases were confirmed to be positive for H5N6 subtype influenza A virus.
