Epidemiological comments After receiving the report from poultry owners, the district and provincial veterinarians went there. They collected some samples from chicken, ducks, and geese and send them to the National Veterinary Research Institute (NaVRI). The results were confirmed positive for highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1.
