China: Mainland poultry tested for bird flu in HongKong

A batch of live chickens imported from a registered poultry farm in Guangdong Province is suspected to have avian influenza (H7) following preliminary tests, the Food & Health Bureau says.
The Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department is conducting further tests and should have results later today.
The chickens are from Foshan City’s Shunde District.
