China: Novel H10N8 human infection reported in Nanchang

A fatal human case of H10N8 avian influenza virus infection was reported by the local authority on Tuesday. The 73-year-old woman was admitted to a hospital in Nanchang city(http://map.flu.org.cn) as severe pneumonia, and died on 6th,Dec. This is the first reported of such infection and the authority revealed the patient had live poultry contact history.
