China: Bird carcass positive for H5N1 in HongKong

Laboratory tests have confirmed a dead Oriental magpie robin found in Tin Shui Wai on December 17 was H5N1-positive.
The bird´s carcass was found at Ju Ching Chu Secondary School (Yuen Long).
The Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department will continue to inspect poultry farms to ensure that proper precautions against avian influenza have been implemented.
