HK reports new fatal case of A/H1N1 flu

A 60-year-old female patient with kidney failure died in Hong Kong weeks after she was diagnosed with A/H1N1 flu, a hospital spokesman said Wednesday.
The patient was sent to Queen Mary Hospital on Jan. 24 due to vomiting and abdominal pain. She was confirmed to have contracted the A/H1N1 flu on Feb. 2, since when she was prescribed antibiotics, the spokesman said.
The patient"e;s condition deteriorated and she was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit on March 29. She was dead on March 30.
