Epidemiological comments The farmers were sick with flu-like symptoms a few days before the pigs got sick. The farm is under voluntary restrictions agreed by the industry, which consist of a two-week quarantine for delivery of fattening pigs to other farms and a four-week quarantine for delivery of breeding pigs to other farms. Pigs sent to slaughter must be free of clinical signs.
