Description of Affected Population | 18 chickens among 20 were affected in addition to the presence of 8 ducks and 4 pigeons. These backyard birds were located in a small enclosure adjacent to a kindergarten. |

Epidemiological comments | A 3-km radius protection zone and a 10-km radius surveillance zone were set up. H5 was detected by PCR. The Neuraminidase (N) type is pending. Increase of monitoring activities of sick and dead wild birds in the zone. |
