| Epidemiological comments | With effect from 12 March 2007 all zone restrictions have been lifted and the outbreak has finished. Vaccination in poultry is prohibited. Vaccination is permitted in zoo birds subject to strict controls in accordance with EU rules. Final cleansing and disinfection of the single infected premises is in progress and will be reported when completed. |
